After 11 years in my home, I had never really decorated my master bedroom to feel like "me." With four children,
plus a dog, a gecko and two turtles, our house was feeling pretty crowded. I had given up my office to make way
for recently adopted children, and now the bedroom doubles as an office. When Lori offered a chance at a
room redesign, I jumped right on it. I have my opinions on things, and I was worried that a decorator
would veto my ideas, but with Lori, that was never true. She didn't make me feel incompetent or tacky
because of my shabby room. The very first thing she did was ask questions and just listen to what I liked and
didn't like, my needs, my dreams for my space.
When we first saw the room after the redesign was finished,
I couldn't believe how well Lori had captured every single desire I had for the space. I knew what I wanted,
but I didn't know how to make it happen. It was as if Lori opened a panel inside my head and looked at the
very mental image I had for the room. Besides that, my husband and I have very different personalities,
but she managed to make it a space that is just right for him too. Later that first evening, my 14-year-old
son came into the room, looked around and said, "This place looks like something you would see in a magazine."
Thank you, Lori, for giving my husband and me a special retreat.

Lori has really helped me plan and implement my major bathroom renovation projects. She is great to work
with and has found many ways to save me time and money on my projects. She also is a great resource for
choosing colors and can help you pick the exact complimentary colors for your room. She is personable,
has high integrity, and is very creative.
